Overview:
I absolutely hate this face powder. I’ve tried so hard for the past year to like it and it’s just not working.

First, the color I have is too light. I trusted Sephora’s beauty specialist with her fancy color-matching technology, but it was all bullshit. She was all like, “Wow, it’s a perfect match. I’ve never seen a color match this perfect.”

So I tried the powder on my face and it looked too light, but I trusted her and her machine and bought it anyways. For the next several weeks, I kept adjusting it. “It’s the lighting” I’d tell myself.

“It’s too powdery? I just have to use a different brush.”
“Too much product- I should tap my brush”
“Bronzer will darken it”
“It doesn’t last all day? I need a primer”
I’d keep telling myself as I hoped and prayed.

I would read all of the good reviews online to convince myself that I’M the one doing it wrong. Everyone effing loves it. I must be the problem.

By now, the box and receipt have all been thrown away so I can’t even return it. After being in denial for almost a year, I decided it’s time to accept that this product sucks and I hate Bare Minerals for torturing me.

I finally decided to give it away and did some research for a drugstore one. Maybelline to the rescue.

Would I buy again? Hell F*cking No
